Skin Polishing

Service Images

If you quickly want to fix the skin issues, then, Skin Polishing can bring instant glow to your body. It uses a technique of removing dull skin by exfoliation on the surface making it brighten & smoother. It improves the skin's texture by reversing skin damages such as tanning & uneven skin tone.

It is also called Microdermabrasion.

Types of Skin Polishing Treatment:

Crystal Microdermabrasion: This is performed by infusing microscopic crystals onto your skin to exfoliate the epidermal layer, such that a healthier skin resurfaces, which is smoother and fresher. A vacuum tube is used to separate the crystals from dead skin cells and to increase circulation in the treated area.

Diamond-Tip Microdermabrasion: Here handheld devices are used to emit light of various colors. They act on the epidermis of the skin making the procedure preferred for treating surface blemishes like acne.

How does Skin Polishing work?

In both IPL and LED procedures of photofacials, the light is being absorbed into the skin. In IPL photofacial, the hemoglobin (red blood cells) and melanin (pigmentation)h soaks up the light, damaging themselves. The intentionally damaged melanin breaks up and is absorbed by the skin, decreasing its appearance on the skin’s surface. The damaged hemoglobin stimulates blood flow, causing the melanin to be absorbed more efficiently.

In LED photofacials the effect is influenced by the color of the light. Green light works similarly to IPL photofacials, breaking up melanin for easier absorption. Other colors, like the aforementioned blue and red light, act on different aspects of the skin.

Photofacial treatments can be used to treat the following:

  • Broken capillaries (blood vessels)
  • Diminishes dark patches and other irregularities in the texture of the skin
  • Polishes and diminishes wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Spider veins
  • Minimizes large pores
  • Freckles
  • Polishes and smoothens the scarring caused by acne and burns
  • Sun Damage

Result of the Treatment

LED photofacials causes no pain but IPL photofacials may result in mild painful. After the treatment your skin will feel smoother with evenly distributed tone. However, dramatic results will appear gradually after multiple treatments.

However, for symptoms like scars, stretch marks, hyperkeratosis and others, skin polishing acts as a permanent cure to give the individual an appealing appearance like never before.
